The photo quickly caught the attention of netizens, who remarked on Sosie's resemblance to her mother, Kyra Sedgwick. Comments included, "Wow, you look just like your mother! So gorgeous!" and "Your mother's twin! Beautiful!"

More fans echoed similar sentiment, with one noting, "So beautyful! You have your mother's eyes," and another exclaiming, "Oh gosh, you look just like your mumma!! Beautiful pic."

Another user observed that Sosie also look like her dad, Kevin Bacon, besides Kyra. "You have always looked identical to your father...... but in this picture you look just like your mother. both of them are awesome so I don't know what else to say. Beautiful look at you the way you look at yourself."

"What is all over your hands? Chocolate? Syrup?Blood?" another questioned. Others were puzzled by the sponge. The sponge is fine, but are your hands alright??" asked a fan.

Sosie's photos on social media may have sparked both admiration and concern, but she wows the public even more with her acting prowess. Her dad also expressed pride in her craft in an October 2022 Hollywood Reporter interview.

The 2013 Miss Golden Globe starred in the hit horror film "Smile." Reflecting on his daughter's performance, Kevin said, "That’s a movie where the stress level is [insane]. I was very proud of her."

He was impressed not only by how great she was but also by the challenging nature of the role. "It’s one of those parts where there is no break," he added.

Kevin admitted he never thought Sosie would be interested in acting. Initially, she didn't seem to want to pursue an acting career, but in her early 20s, she decided to drop out of college and move to Los Angeles to follow her passion.

Sosie dedicated herself to her acting career by working hard, continuously auditioning, and studying diligently. In a Harper's Bazaar interview, Sosie was asked about the best piece of advice she had received on her acting journey and who it was from.

She replied, "I think it's more a general encouragement to trust my own instincts, more than anything. I think that we are the only people that know what we should do. That's been from probably, namely, my mom."

Interestingly, despite having two well-established actors as parents, Sosie Bacon revealed that Kevin and Kyra tried to remain neutral regarding her career choice. Her parents made a conscious effort to neither encourage nor discourage her.

Being raised by parents involved in the industry allowed her to see not just the glamorous aspects but also the challenges. However, once she made her decision to pursue acting, they were fully supportive, expressing excitement and readiness to discuss her career choice, rather than expressing any concern or hesitation.

"As soon as I made the choice, it was like, 'Amazing. That's exciting. Now we can talk about it.' It wasn't like, 'Oh, no,'" she shared.

Still, Kevin reflected on his initial reluctance to have his children follow in their footsteps, and then cast his daughter in a role that mirrored her mother’s character in flashbacks, in the 2005 film "Loverboy."

He shared a light-hearted anecdote, saying, "But that’s what happens when you’re a director. You'll do anything to get a shot. In this case, it was just sort of a perfect part, to play Kyra's character as a girl. I just couldn’t resist it. Sure, Kyra was saying, 'Well, all right, if you really want to...' But Sosie was cool. She kind of got it out of her system. She said, 'Oh, that was fun—now I’m going back to school.'"

This blend of support and independence reflected the unique dynamics within the Bacon-Sedgwick household, which extends beyond the professional realm. For instance, when filming "Smile," Sosie moved back in with her parents, anticipating a warm and nostalgic experience.

She even brought her dog along, expecting to spend quality time with her family. Her parents were equally welcoming, going to great lengths to be super sweet to her, making her feel at home and even wanting to hang out.

She even admitted that sometimes, when she'd come home at 2. a.m. after a long day of shooting, they'd make her bagels. However, the realities of a demanding filming schedule meant that she was too busy to truly reconnect. "I just felt so bad. I just gave them my dog, basically," she revealed.

As fans and followers continue to marvel at her resemblance to her famous parents, it’s clear that Sosie is not just a mirror image of Kevin and Kyra but also a budding talent.

With a distinct voice and perspective poised to make her own indelible mark on the world of entertainment, she has appeared in films such as "Charlie Says," "Story of a Girl," "The Last Summer," and "Here and Now," among many others.
