At age 34, Travis Kelce is already a legend. Loved by millions on and off the field, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end even captured the heart of the one and only Taylor Swift. The American footballer and pop icon began their romance in September 2023 and fans absolutely adore the pair being together. Swifties have even taken to tuning into Travis and his brother Jason‘s podcast, New Heights, and the latest episode has seen some unable to stop staring at his hands…
Travis Kelce fans can’t get over ‘teacup hands’ on New Heights podcast
The brothers had lots to talk about this installment, including Travis’ attendance at an Eras Tour concert in Paris, which saw her pay tribute to him in the sweetest way.
Yet, it was Travis’ hands that grabbed the most attention, as he was drinking from a teacup that made him look even bigger than his already towering 6’5″ height.
“Oh my god!” a viewer wrote in the chat. “That teacup looks like a Barbie prop in Trav’s paw.”
Others couldn’t glance over it either: “That cup looked so tiny being held by him.” However, it’s the cup itself that’s raising eyebrows. “Trav looks so fancy with that teacup,” one reacted, another saying “Travis with a teacup is sending me.”
Even more hilarious is that Swifties have offered an explanation: “The Taylor Effect is Travis drinking out of a teacup.”
“I just spit my coffee,” one replied in hysterics. “This is the content I’m here for.”
Fans can’t help but feel Taylor’s aesthetic and tastes are seriously beginning to rub off on the man. “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, sipping cups of tea with me,” somebody joked, hastily revising the lyrics to the song Karma on her album Midnights.
Fans say the ‘Taylor Effect’ doesn’t end there
A teacup-holding Travis can’t help but bring to mind some potential influence from Taylor, although fans are certain that her imprint on her partner doesn’t end there.
“The Taylor Effect is Travis greeting us in another language,” a commenter on the latest episode joked.
He welcomed listeners and viewers to the podcast with a big “Bonjour!” much to his brother’s surprise. Of course, footage of Travis in Paris has been melting the hearts of Swifties everywhere, and the two brothers share that excitement themselves.
“I love how Jason pumps Travis up about being at a Taylor concert,” a commenter blushed.
