Purple Alert Canceled For 47-Year-Old Lakeland Man, Located Safe

LAKELAND, Fla. – The Florida Purple Alert issued for 47-year-old Duane Custer of Lakeland has been canceled; he has been located safe.

A Florida Purple Alert was issued for 47-year-old Duane Custer of Lakeland.

Custer was believed to be traveling in a 2020 white GMC Acadia bearing Florida license tag BB56II. He was last seen on May 11, 2024, at 5:43 p.m. in the 3000 block of Covington Lane, Lakeland, Florida.

His vehicle was last seen on May 13th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Orlando area at Lowe's, 2800 West Sand Lake Road.

Mr. Custer is 5'9" and weighs approximately 285 lbs. His head is bald and he has brown eyes. He was last known to be wearing a black shirt, blacks shorts with white lines and green/black shoes.
