Bruno Fernandes makes bold statement about Marcus Rashford's future at Man Utd, he's more than certain with his thoughts

Marcus Rashford came back from injury against Newcastle United in the Premier League, which is good to see with the FA Cup Final in Manchester United’s sights.

The Manchester United forward has been out since the FA Cup semi-final clash against Coventry City but returned for a brief seven-minute cameo against the Geordies.

The England international has been an ever-present force in the Manchester United first-team squad. Since his debut in 2015, he’s become a part of the furniture at Old Trafford.

But amid a torrid season, arguably his worst yet in red, there have been rumours he could be set to depart Manchester United in the summer.

Marcus Rashford Man Utd exit rumours

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his Ineos mob taking the reigns over the summer transfer business around Carrington in the summer, it appears no one is safe from the chopping block, including Rashford.

Newspaper reports have been casting doubts over Rashford’s future at the club. At the end of April, The Mirror claimed only 10 players are guaranteed to stay at Manchester United. The Manchester United academy graduate was not among those listed.

Further doubt transpired when The Telegraph reported Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for almost every player, once again including the seemingly untouchable poster boy of the club.

Whether anyone wants him is a different story, or if behind the scenes Erik ten Hag is still reluctant to sell, given the undeniable quality they know he has.

As mentioned prior, he’s also a homegrown poster boy. He’s the man with the most goals in the current squad and by far the most appearances. He actually reached a landmark against Newcastle. A whopping 400 appearances.

Bruno Fernandes on Rashford’s future

Rashford took to Instagram to post a message to fans after making 400 appearances for Manchester United on Wednesday night. He wrote: ‘It’s a special feeling to say that I have played 400 times for United. ♥️ Thank you.’

Bruno Fernandes responded to this, with a bit of indication of what he thinks about Rashford’s future at the club. He put: ‘400 more to come 🙌🏼’

So not only does Bruno think he’ll be here for the next campaign, but probably for his career in the hopes of becoming a Manchester United legend.

A clear indication from the club captain, he thinks Rashford is going nowhere. Only time will tell of course, but it’s set to be a busy summer of outgoings at Manchester United – that’s for sure.
