The Russian Federation is trying to expand the war, but Ukraine is preparing for all scenarios, stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the President, Ukraine's counteroffensive actions are ongoing, including along the border of the Kharkiv region. Zelenskyy stated that results of Ukraine in repelling assaults and destroying the enemy should increase.

"Russia seeks to expand the war, consistently accompanying it with empty words about peace. We must force Russia to real, just peace by all means. Our defense against assaults and strikes is decisive," the President said.

Zelenskyy also said that at the Meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, there were reports on the further intentions of the Russian army, but Ukraine is preparing for all scenarios.

Russia may expand its offensive

The Russian forces have recently started advancing in the north of Kharkiv region. The Russians are moving toward Lyptsi and Vovchansk. At the same time, the Russian army may consider other areas for the offensive.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, says that the actions of the Russian army in the Sumy region directly depend on the results of their attacks in the Kharkiv region.
