College football fans simply can’t wait for the return of one of the best video games of all-time this summer, EA Sports College Football 25. It’s been a decade since the game has finally returned and the excitement continues to build until the game’s July 19th official release date. On Thursday evening, former Florida Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow teased the official trailer being dropped for the game. It will be released on Friday, May 17th. And the legendary quarterback let everyone know how pumped he is as well.

Tebow was lucky enough to grace the cover of NCAA Football 11. Earlier on Thursday, On3’s Hayes Fawcett captured a screenshot of the different types of games made available on the EA Sports website.

It’s a surreal experience for college football fans across the country that the game is so close to being back. Dynasties are ready to be built. And legends are ready to be made.

Tim Tebow was one of the greatest players in CFB history

Tim Tebow established himself as one of the greatest players in college football history during his career with the Florida Gators. He won two BCS National Championships with the Gators (2006 and 2008). One was with Chris Leakoperating as the starting quarterback under center. In 2007, he won the highest individual award in college football, the Heisman Trophy. Tebowbecame the first sophomore inNCAA history to win the award.

He ran and threw for a combined 55 touchdowns during his Heisman Trophy winning season. He became the first player in FBS history to throw for and run for over 20 touchdowns in a season. He threw for 3,286 yards and 32 touchdowns, while adding 895 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on the ground. Tebow put up those numbers in 13 games and that season is still considered one of the greatest seasons by any player in college football history.

At the end of his highly decorated college career, Tebow held five NCAA, 14 SEC and 28 Florida statistical records.

In the NFL, he was selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft with the No. 25 overall pick by the Denver Broncos. He saw limited action as a rookie, but led the Broncos to a playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in his second season. Later, he had brief stints with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
