Cash4Life ticket worth $1K a week for life sold at N.J. convenience store

A Cash4Life lottery ticket worth $1,000 a week for life was sold for Thursday’s drawing at a convenience store in Union Couuty.

The second-prize ticket was bought at QuickStop Convenience on West 7th Street in Plainfield, the New Jersey Lottery said. It matched five numbers but not the Cash Ball.

The winner can also choose the cash option worth $1 million.

Thursday’s winning numbers were 9, 33, 52, 54 and 57. The Cash Ball drawn was 3.

Two second-prize Cash4Life tickets were purchased in New Jersey in April.

The odds of a $2 ticket matching five numbers and the Cash Ball to win $1,000 a day for life or $7 million are 21,846,048 to 1. The ticket holder on Thursday beat 7,282,016 to 1 odds to match five numbers.

Players select five numbers from a field of one through 60, and then select a Cash Ball. from a field of one through four.

Drawings are held every day at about 9 p.m.
