Report: Tottenham have found a buyer for 'outstanding player' Ange wants rid of; £25m fee now possible

Tottenham fans are ready for another summer of change this year and there could be good news regarding a potential outgoing already.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou wants to make big changes in the summer window and that includes bringing new players in and moving others on.

Postecoglou has been less than impressed with events in recent weeks. As part of that, he’s used his press conferences to make clear that there is indeed going to be change.

Of course, there are a number of Tottenham players who will be moved on.

One of the players who is expected to move on is Brazilian defender Emerson Royal. And according to reports from Italy, there could be good news on the horizon soon for Spurs.

AC Milan willing to pay fee and wages for Emerson Royal

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan remain keen on Royal after showing their initial interest in the past few weeks.

The Italian side are said to be open to bringing in Royal this summer and according to this report from CM, they are more than open to paying the numbers needed as well.

Spurs are looking to recoup as much of the £25m or so they paid for Royal in the first place and it’s claimed Milan aren’t put off by paying a good fee, nor do they see his £40k-a-week wages as a problem.

Of course, this will be music to the ears of Daniel Levy and Ange Postecoglou, who are keen to find buyers as quickly as possible for the players not needed.

Royal has never quite got going since arriving from Barcelona and there’s even been reports the Spanish side were shocked Spurs paid what they did for him.

Time to move on for Emerson Royal

It just hasn’t worked out for Emerson Royal really and since Tottenham signed Pedro Porro, he’s really been shown up as not being up to standard recently.

He was criticised against Liverpool a few weeks back for his defending and that really sums up how things have gone for him since his arrival.

For the ‘outstanding‘ Royal, a move to AC Milan would be quite the win really.

The Italian side clearly see something in him that Tottenham aren’t right now and you’d imagine that all parties will be pushing to get this one over the line ASAP.
