TAMPA, Fla. - Beginning at 3 p.m. today, both southbound lanes on North Himes Avenue have been closed between West Lemon and West Cypress Streets while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break.
Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the work.

The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, with a return to normal traffic patterns. However, the Tampa Water Department may need to return later to complete additional work. An update will be provided then.
Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
