Residents are without water due to a power outage at a pumping station.
Those living in and around Loose, near Maidstone, are currently affected.
The outage was reported at around 11am today – with several residents taking to Facebook to warn others.
One person said: “Anyone in Melrose Close area have no water?”
“Very low pressure in Hawkes Way,” another added.
It is not yet known how many properties have been affected. On their website, South East Water has confirmed the cause of the issue.
“We currently have a power outage at our site which means we are unable to pump the water,” it states.
“You may therefore be experiencing no water or low water pressure.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure customers that we are working hard to fix the issue as quickly as possible.”
It is expected to be fixed around 3.30pm.
South East Water has been contacted for a comment.
