After Harry Kane and Eric Dier, Bayern Munich are now eyeing third Tottenham raid for ‘important’ player

Tottenham Hotspur are now seeing Bayern Munich show interest in another one of their players ahead of the summer transfer window.

Having already seen Harry Kane and Eric Dier depart the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season for Munich, it seems another could be heading to join them.

Kane has enjoyed a sensational campaign in front of goal having netted 44 goals and provided 12 assists in 45 games.

However, his teammates have not been able to match his impressive form.

The German giants have had a season to forget having lost on the final day of the campaign which saw them finish third in the Bundesliga.

And to add to their misery in the league, Bayern are ending the season without a single piece of silverware.

Despite facing their first trophyless campaign in years, it is claimed Bayern are looking to bring in a third Tottenham player for the third-consecutive transfer window.

Bayern Munich keen to bring in third Tottenham player this summer

A number of exits are expected from Hotspur Way this summer with Ange Postecoglou already claiming change is on the way.

In a recent press conference, Postecoglou admitted he will be making changes to this squad over the coming months with players set to leave.

“I’ve got to change this squad, I have to. Because I’ve got to build a squad I think can play our football. For that to happen, there has to be exits,” he said.

One player who has recently been linked with a move away this summer is right-back Emerson Royal with AC Milan linked with the Brazilian.

The defender was hailed as “important” by interim boss Cristian Stellini last season at Spurs.

However, according to journalist Tom Barclay, there are two other clubs that are showing an interest in the 25-year-old.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Bayern Munich are believed to hold interest in Emerson alongside the Italian giants.

The Saudi Arabian club are set to return this summer after seeing a bid rejected for the right-back in January.

What Eric Dier previously said about Emerson Royal

A potential move to Bayern in the summer would see the Brazilian reunite with two of his former Spurs teammates.

And one of them, Dier, had positive things to say about Emerson following his move to Spurs back in 2021 from Barcelona.

“The same goes for Emerson, he’s settled in so well, a great character, a lot of fun, works very hard. I’ve been really impressed with him, his work rate, always in the gym, always looking after himself,” Dier told the club’s website.

Although Dier may well have good things to say about Emerson, it has to be caveated that Bayern currently do not have a manager going into the summer with Thomas Tuchel leaving the club.

Whoever becomes their new manager, he could well arrive with his own set of transfer targets.
