With LSU looking on the outside in when it comes to the NCAA Tournament, Saturday was the last game at Alex Box Stadium for the 2024 season. Some players will be moving on in just a few weeks, with Tommy White expected to be one of them. White is certainly a fan favorite in Baton Rouge and was treated as such when leaving the field.

In the bottom of the eighth inning against Ole Miss, White flew out in what was likely his last at-bat in an LSU uniform. A routine play for everyone involved but as he jogged back into the dugout, Tiger fans got on their feet to give White a standing ovation.

He pointed into the crowd and seemingly waved goodbye before treating his teammates with a row of high fives. White was a great player for LSU and was a major part of the national championship-winning team. Nobody around the program will forget his contributions, even if only two seasons were spent with LSU.
