'Not going to': Cristiano Ronaldo shares who he thinks will win the Premier League - Man City or Arsenal

Cristiano Ronaldo has predicted which team will win the Premier League on Sunday: Manchester City or Arsenal.

Having won three Premier League titles in a row at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo has every right to have his say on the ongoing title race.

Manchester City currently have a two-point advantage over Arsenal and are favourites to reclaim their throne on the last day of the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo predicts which team will win the Premier League

However, as per certain permutations such as City either drawing or losing to West Ham United, the Gunners will win the title.

The job is far from done for Pep Guardiola’s men, even though they have beaten the Hammers five times in their last five outings at the Etihad Stadium.

But when Cristiano Ronaldo was quizzed about whether Manchester City or Arsenal would win the Premier League by Queensberry Promotions, he replied: “They’re [Arsenal] not going to win the league.”

The Portuguese icon has expressed his admiration for this City side in the past, admitting that he enjoys watching them play and felt they deserved to win the Champions League earlier.

The Al-Nassr talisman also got a chance to watch Arsenal at their absolute best, as he left Manchester United in the 2022/2023 season.

By the end of the campaign, Mikel Arteta’s side finished second in the league.

However, Ronaldo did face a City side who went on to win the league with 93 points.

Manchester City are the favourites, not Arsenal

Not many would disagree with Cristiano Ronaldo, who is backing Manchester City to trump Arsenal to the league title.

So far, every time City have had to win the title on the last day of the season, they have got the job done.

Whether that is comfortably by beating Brighton 4-1 in 2019 or during their heroic comeback to defeat Aston Villa 3-2 in 2022 — Manchester City get over the line by any means necessary.

Cristiano Ronaldo perhaps expects the same is in store for Manchester City, with Arsenal set to finish in second place two seasons in a row.
