Pep Guardiola to make one change, £55,000-a-week player to start: Man City predicted line-up vs West Ham

In our view, Manchester City are unlikely to make far too many changes to their side that will face West Ham United on Sunday.

Apart from making one forced omission, Pep Guardiola could line the same team up that defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 on Tuesday.

City have quite a settled side going into this contest and the Catalan tactician will perhaps resist changing a winning formula.

As a result, Stefan Ortega is expected to start against West Ham, as per our predicted Manchester City lineup. The £55,000-a-week man, who was praised by Son Heung-min while speaking to The Standard after his display against Tottenham is expected to be trusted in between the sticks.

Kyle Walker is likely to keep his place for Manchester City against West Ham, with his experience of playing in the biggest of games for the English giants over the years.

The same goes for Ruben Dias, who much like Kyle Walker is a leader. Rico Lewis once revealed that the 27-year-old is one of the very best leaders in world football.

Manuel Akanji, who was excellent once again in his side’s latest win against Tottenham seems set to start, as per our predicted Manchester City lineup against West Ham.

At left-back, Josko Gvardiol has solidified his place in the Sky Blues’ starting XI as he has become one of their first names on the team sheet.

As for Rodri, he is perhaps the one name in our predicted Manchester City lineup who seems guaranteed to start against West Ham.

Mateo Kovacic, who was one of the standout performers for City against Spurs might have cemented his place in the team for now.

Manchester City will be hoping Kevin De Bruyne can provide yet another decisive assist against West Ham, as the hosts will be hoping he can produce a moment of magic or two.

The front three looks set to retain their places in the side as well, in Bernardo Silva, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden.
