Although four consecutive victories have strengthened Pochettino’s case to stay, The Guardian reports that Chelsea are still considering a managerial change.
McKenna, who is currently the manager of Ipswich Town, is a strong contender, with Chelsea already initiating discussions with his representatives.
McKenna, seen as one of England’s most promising coaches, has achieved remarkable success since joining Ipswich in 2021, guiding the team from League One to the Premier League with consecutive promotions.
McKenna, whose playing career was cut short by injury, previously spent several years at Manchester United before taking on his first managerial role at Ipswich.
