'In the list': Real Madrid want to sign £35m Liverpool player; they'll watch him all next season - journalist

Liverpool’s squad is full of talented individuals and it looks like La Liga giants Real Madrid could have their eye on one Jurgen Klopp signing.

The Reds have managed to assemble a squad of players capable of going for trophies and with Arne Slot due to take over, the Dutchman will have a good group of players to work with.

Last summer saw Jurgen Klopp embark on a big rebuild of his midfield.

The likes of Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Endo Wataru were all signed.

But according to journalist Rudy Galetti, Real Madrid are already looking at signing one of those players in the coming seasons.

Real Madrid to watch Alexis Mac Allister ahead of 2025 transfer window

Taking to social media platform X to share his information on Mac Allister, Galetti has said that Madrid are keen on the Argentinian.

Galetti claims the Spanish giants will keep an eye on Mac Allister throughout next season, with the aim of making a move for him in 2025 if possible.

Galetti’s news follows on from a report from Spain yesterday which suggested Madrid had indeed registered an interest in the £35m man.

Mac Allister to replace Modric and Kroos at Real Madrid?

Real Madrid have had one of the best and most settled midfield’s for some time now but we all know that is going to end soon.

Luka Modric is staying on for another year and Toni Kroos remains at the club, but eventually, Madrid need replacements.

Mac Allister has shown in his first season at Liverpool he can be a big time player. After initially struggling, the World Cup winner has shone and been a regular fixture for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Jermain Defoe was recently really impressed by Mac Allister against Tottenham and that performance summed up his season really.

Of course, Liverpool won’t want to lose such a player. But the lure of Madrid is strong and Mac Allister may well fancy the switch.
