'Incredible': Gary Neville blown away by £38m Liverpool target after what he did during season finale today

A pulsating last day of Premier League football has taken place today and Gary Neville has been left wowed by a player Liverpool could end up signing.

Liverpool themselves were playing Wolves inJurgen Klopp’s final game at the club and in the end, cruised to a win to honour the German in his last hurrah.

However, it was in another Premier League fixture of bigger importance where a potential Arne Slot signing impressed the onlooking Neville.

That game was the West Ham v Manchester City clash, which went into the half-time break with City leading 2-1, thanks to a stunner from Hammers winger, Mohammed Kudus.

Of course, we know Liverpool have been credited with a big interest in Kudus.

And watching the overhead kick from Kudus at The Etihad, former Man United man Neville was seriously impressed by what he saw.

Mohammed Kudus scores wonder goal after being linked with Liverpool

Speaking on Sky Sports after seeing the finish from Kudus, Neville compared it to something Alejandro Garnacho had done earlier in the season for Man United.

“An incredible goal. It’s similar to the Alejandro Garnacho goal at Everton. It is brilliant from Mohammed Kudus,” Neville said.

Kudus has proven he can play for Liverpool

To say he only arrived last summer, Mohammed Kudus has had quite the debut season in England and shown he belongs at the top level.

18 goals and seven assists across all competitions this season is quite the return.

Kudus, then, looks more than capable of playing at what some would say is a higher level at Liverpool, given the pressures that come with such a big club.

Quite whether West Ham will want to sell, or if Liverpool will up their interest, remains to be seen.
