Man City fans all agree about Phil Foden after winning the Premier League title against West Ham

Manchester City are Premier League champions once again, and Phil Foden made headlines with two more goals at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola has held off the challenge from Arsenal, who beat Everton 2-1, to secure a history-making fourth straight title.

Any early nerves were quickly swatted away when Foden rifled an effort into the top corner to make it 1-0.

Foden doubled City’s leaf after 18 minutes, sweeping home Jeremy Doku‘s cross from the left side. Mohammed Kudus pulled one back for West Ham against the run of play with a spectacular effort.

But Rodri, often so clutch for City, struck in the second-half to secure the points.

West Ham did have the ball in the back of the net late on through Tomas Soucek, but the goal was chalked off for handball.

It was very much the Phil Foden show once again on Sunday.

The England international was scintillating at times against the Hammers, with the 23-year-old dazzling in a central role.

Foden has recently just been named the Premier League Player of the Season, and today he showed why that was.

He was tremendous operating between the lines, and his two goals were taken so well. His first was an absolute rocket and might just be the best he’s scored this season.

There were supporters who were left simply amazed by the fact that Foden now has six Premier League titles to his name:

Some fans just couldn’t help but appreciate how good his performance was against West Ham:

And for others, Foden is now right up there with the very best players in the world:

Foden can be the best player in the world

What a season it has been for Foden, who must now set his sights on becoming the best player in the world. Because he is capable of becoming that.

At the moment he is right up there. But some may see that Kylian Mbappe or Jude Bellingham are at the top of the tree at the moment.

But you would not bet against Foden, because he is always wanting to become better and better.

We have heard so many times from the likes of Pep Guardiola and other players how much Foden just loves football.

His mentality is incredible, and so with that in mind, we could see him become the very best before much longer.
