Feuding TV stars no closer to being friends as concerned fans ask questions

Freddie Bentley may be a newcomer to TOWIE, but it appears he’s a seasoned pro when it comes to handling drama. Tackling people on the pitch also seems to be a walk in the part for Freddie as he explains to his co-stars he’s “started gay rugby.”

The Only Way Is Essex is known for its drama-filled episodes. The ITV show has been gracing our TV screens since 2010 and OGs such as Lauren Goodger are still appearing in series 32. TOWIE is welcoming new and old this year as the likes of Lauren are joined by newbie Freddie.

Meet TOWIE’s Freddie Bentley

Making his TOWIE debut this year is Freddie Bentley, 26.

He’s no stranger to reality TV and appeared in the competition series The Circle series 1.

During his time on The Circle, Freddie had viewers divided and it looks like he now has TOWIE fans asking questions, too.

Freddie is introduced on The Only Way Is Essex as Ella Wise’s best friend.

Junaid and Freddie’s feud

Ahead of TOWIE series 32, Junaid, 29, revealed he’s in a “peace” and “redemption era.”

However, this level of zen doesn’t appear to extend as far as a friendship with Freddie.

Junaid can be seen offering apologies to Jordan and Sophie, and he said he wanted to “build bridges” with “Harry, Saffron, and Ella,” to name a few of the co-stars he’d rubbed up the wrong way.

Freddie’s name didn’t quite make the cut. And, it seems the two’s beef is still ongoing as they’re not following one another on Instagram.

This April, TOWIE stars were seen eating out at the famous eatery Sheesh. A group photo seemingly confirms how Junaid and Freddie still aren’t on good terms, reports The Sun.

Last September, Ella fell out with Junaid and Dani over social media. Given how Freddie is Ella’s best friend, it makes sense a rift would form between the two.

Speaking to OK! this April, Freddie explained: “Long story short when they fell out with Ella last series I got very protective and pulled them up on their behavior. I am a very blunt person and very direct.”
