King’s Lynn martial arts club set to move to town centre premises

The successful B4L Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club will be looking for home comforts when they move to new premises located close to the town centre next month.

The long-standing martial arts club based in Lynn has been training out of a dedicated unit in South Lynn, but due to club growth and popular demand, is looking to increase their space and facilities.

From June 3, the popular club will be located at the new premises located at “The Old Hall” next to the King's Lynn Bus Station.

This will offer a far larger dedicated matted area, as well as specialist strength and conditioning.

Head coach, second-degree black belt Manasses Filho said: "As well as the continuation of daily BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and grappling, we are also offering additional sessions to the timetable to be as flexible as possible to our members.

"We'll be introducing joint parent and child classes, as well as competition classes and yoga.

"We are hosting an open day on Saturday, June 15 so anyone curious about trying BJJ or our strength and conditioning services is welcome to come down throughout the day to try a session for free, or even just to come and meet some of our team."

The club is also working in partnership with Mindly Body, a strength and conditioning, sports massage and sports rehabilitation service managed by Alexandra Kovacs.

Kovacs will be drawing on her 10+ years of professional experience to help members and non-members alike reach their goals.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an effective grappling-based martial art which has seen a huge popularity increase in the past few years.
