THE annual Hungerford Rotary Club plant sale was a runaway success.
Club president Llewellyn Robins said: “Thanks to the generosity of the people of Hungerford the Rotary Club had a very successful plant sale this year.
“The fine weather encouraged people to bring their donation along to The Croft Hall and pick up some bargain plants for themselves.”
Visitosalso also enjoyed the tea, coffee and home made cakes, all provided by Rotarians, their friends and relatives.
At the end of the day the sale raised more than £900 for local good causes.
Mr Robins thanked all his helpers and everyone who came along to
support the sale.
He said he hoped he would see them all again next year.
