In typical fashion for allegedly tolerant liberals, a left-wing columnist in Kansas City has called for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs to shut star kicker Harrison Butker up or replace him with a woman.
Peter Hamm, a left-wing writer for the Kansas City Star, demanded that a moment of “poetic justice” that the Chiefs fire Butker for his “Neanderthal outburst” and “because the pipeline of talent is real” make their new kicker a woman.
“This is not a joke. It’s not unrealistic. And it would be good for business,” Hamm argued.

Hamm is just one of countless liberals triggered by Butker’s recent defense of traditional families against the tidal wave of propaganda from feminist, LGBTQ, pro-abortion, and DEI activists.
He did so last weekend in a commencement speech at Benedictine College, a small Catholic college in Kansas.
As the Tampa Free Press reported, Butker shared the story of how he married and made a home with his middle-school sweetheart, Isabelle, who has chosen to be a homemaker. The couple have two children and announced last week that they’re expecting a third.
Butker, a Catholic, encouraged Benedictine’s women graduates to not fall for the “most diabolical lies told to you,” meaning the secular message that professional success should be a priority over faith, marriage, and creating a family.
Butker also did not spare supposed Catholics.

He ripped leftist President Joe Biden, a self-proclaimed Catholic, for being “delusional enough to make the Sign of The Cross during a pro-abortion rally.” That happened last month in Tampa when Biden visited to criticize Florida’s new anti-abortion law.
Butker also blasted liberal Catholic leaders who are “pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America,” and he urged the grads to have pride, yet not “the deadly sin sort of pride that has an entire month dedicated to it.”
In his anti-conservative rant, Hamm noted that he wants a woman to replace Butker, who has the second-highest field goal accuracy percentage in NFL history.
Hamm cited several women soccer players who supposedly could replace Butker, including one who is so good that she must play in Canada because no American school would give her a chance.
“The Chiefs need to make a strategic call about Butker’s future with the team. If he could agree to shut his mouth, the current story might fade,” he wrote.

“There are, after all, plenty of athletes with backward cultural views, but they’re tolerated if they can mostly stick to sports cliches in interviews. If they’re superstars, they sometimes can keep yapping and get away with it.”
He suggested the Chiefs could simply trade away one of their most prolific offensive weapons or replace him with a woman.
“There are more than 300 players on the 14 teams in the National Women’s Soccer League. That’s more than 300 women who are professional ball kickers and don’t currently choose to be stay-at-home housewives. It would be delightful if one of them cost the Kansas City Chiefs kicker his job,” Hamm wrote.
One might suggest that those women soccer player may also have more experience kicking balls than Peter Hamm.
