Man shot and killed in N.J. park, cops say

A man was shot and killed at Warinanco Park in Roselle on Sunday evening, authorities said.

Union County police were called to the park at about 7:50 p.m after getting a report of a shooting, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Additional information wasn’t immediately available.

The 204-acre park is sits at the border of Roselle, Linden and Elizabeth. Anyone with information that can aid the ongoing investigation is asked to call Union Prosecutor’s Office Sgt.
