The On300 for the 2026 recruiting cycle was updated on Monday, and Louisiana held firm with eight prospects ranked inside the Top 300.

The group is headlined by the No. 1 overall prospect in America and a trio of Top 10 prospects. The state also has five players ranked inside the Top 50, with another checking in at No. 51.

Here’s the rundown on the latest rankings update from On3.

Jahkeem Stewart – St. Augustine (New Orleans, La.)

Then: No. 1 overall, No. 1 DL, No. 1 in Louisiana

Now: No. 1 overall, No. 1 DL, No. 1 in Louisiana

The No. 1 overall prospect in the country remains St. Augustine defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart, and despite recent buzz around Southern Cal, LSU still holds a big lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

*****

Lamar Brown – University High School (Baton Rouge, La.)

Then: No. 4 overall, No. 1 IOL, No. 2 in Louisiana

Now: No. 5 overall, No. 1 IOL, No. 2 in Louisiana

Brown remained in the Top 5 nationally, regardless of position. The U-High standout is the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class, but colleges haven’t ruled out Brown playing on the defensive line. The Tigers hold the On3 RPM lead for the Baton Rouge native who attends high school on LSU’s campus.

*****

Blaine Bradford – Catholic High (Baton Rouge, La.)

Then: No. 10 overall, No. 1 S, No. 3 in Louisiana

Now: No. 10 overall, No. 1 S, No. 3 in Louisiana

Bradford is still a Top 10 overall prospect in the country as the top-ranked safety in the 2026 class. Louisiana has three prospects ranked in the Top 10 nationally, with two attending high school in Baton Rouge. LSU holds the early On3 RPM lead for the trio.

*****

Brysten Martinez – East Ascension (Gonzales, La.)

Then: No. 17 overall, No. 4 OT, No. 4 in Louisiana

Now: No. 37 overall, No. 6 OT, No. 4 in Louisiana

Martinez soared into the On300 when he landed at No. 17 overall, and as the rankings expand, he’s settled into the Top 40 overall as the No. 6 offensive tackle in America and a Top 5 recruit in Louisiana. LSU was one of the first programs to offer Martinez and are considered the team to beat for the local four-star product.

*****

Jabari Mack – Destrehan High (Destrehan, La.)

Then: No. 40 overall, No. 6 WR, No. 5 in Louisiana

Now: No. 40 overall, No. 5 WR, No. 5 in Louisiana

LSU has consistently recruited Destrehan well, most recently adding four-star Kolaj Cobbins in the 2024 class. Now, Mack is the school’s highest-ranked prospect for the 2026 class, and he while he stayed put at No. 40 in the rankings, he moved up to the No. 5 wide receiver in the country.

*****

Aiden Hall – Edna Karr (New Orleans, La.)

Then: No. 85 overall, No. 6 S, No. 6 in Louisiana

Now: No. 51 overall, No. 5 S, No. 6 in Louisiana

Another school LSU has recruited well in the New Orleans area is Edna Karr, and Hall is one of two prospects in the On3 Top 150 for the 2026 class. Hall, who moved up to the No. 5 safety on On3, has an LSU offer and the Tigers hold the On3 RPM lead.

*****

Richard Anderson – Edna Karr (New Orleans, La.)

Then: No. 120 overall, No. 10 DL, No. 7 in Louisiana

Now: No. 117 overall, No. 9 DL, No. 7 in Louisiana

***** The other Edna Karr prospect in On3’s Top 150 is Anderson, a talented defensive lineman who holds an offer from the Tigers and has made multiple visits to LSU campus over the past year. With Stewart and Anderson ranked as Top 10 defensive linemen coming out of the Bayou State, the Tigers have a chance to score big at the position next cycle.

Ke’Rynn Smith – Holy Cross (New Orleans, La.)

Then: No. 281 overall, No. 28 RB, No. 8 in Louisiana

Now: No. 288 overall, No. 32 RB, No. 8 in Louisiana

The Holy Cross running back debuted in the On300 following his sophomore season, and he stayed put in the On300 following Monday’s update. Smith checks in as the No. 8 prospect in Louisiana and No. 32 running back in the country, and early offers are in from double-digit programs, including SEC schools like Missouri and Arkansas.
