GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida’s matchup with North Carolina in the Jumpman Invitational has reportedly been set. The Gators will face UNC on Dec. 17 in Spectrum Center in Charlotte.

The date was first reported by college hoops analyst Rocco Miller.

Michigan and Oklahoma meet Dec. 18 and the UF women’s basketball team will play the Tarheels on that day as well, according to Miller. This year will be the third annual Jumpman Invitational.

Florida defeated Michigan 106-101 in double overtime last season, rallying from a nine-point second-half deficit. UF lost to Oklahoma in the inaugural Jumpman event during Todd Golden’s first year.

The Gators’ matchup with UNC is their second reported date for a non-conference game in 2024-25. They will host North Florida on Dec. 22, according to college hoops insider Jon Rothstein.

Rothstein also reports that UF will be one of four schools in an early season tournament in Orlando. Minnesota and Wake Forest are also participating, while the fourth team is to be determined.

While the schedule is still being finalized, GatorsOnline has learned that the Orlando tournament will take place during Thanksgiving week like last year’s NIT Season Tip-Off in Brooklyn.

Florida will then compete in the ACC/SEC Challenge the week after Thanksgiving and should be one of the host teams after playing on the road last season against Wake Forest.

The Gators will also travel to Florida State this year, although date has not been announced yet. Here’s a look at Florida’s non-conference opponents so far for the 2024-25 season.
