Swifties have seen Taylor Swift in several relationships since she rose to stardom, and observing the difference in her new relationship with Travis Kelce, they’re certain he’s the one. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like many of her exes have found ‘their one’ yet, as some could call it a ‘curse’…
Harry Styles
Although brief, former One Direction star Harry Styles and Swift dated from late 2012 until early 2013. Sources say the brief romance between the celebrity couple came to an end after the Bad Blood singer saw a picture online of Styles and a ‘girlfriend,’ in which he said he was just “kissing her goodbye.”
However, when the star looked for the picture online she found that they were “making out like with their hands all up in each other’s hair.”
It’s been over a decade, and of course, Swift is happy with Kelce, and it seemed Styles was happy with Taylor Russell, until now.
Despite sources claiming Styles and Russell were ‘getting serious,’ it’s now been reported that they’ve gone their separate ways after a ‘make or break’ trip to Japan in April.
The Netflix star attended her first Met Gala without Harry this month, although fans thought nothing of it, as they’re known to have kept their relationship private. It all makes sense now…

OG Swifties will remember the Joe Jonas Era. The pair dated for roughly three months in 2008, as it was reported things did not end well. The Cruel Summer singer claimed the Jo Bro umped her during a 27-second phone call.
It looked like Joe went on to find the one when he married Sophie Turner, who is now besties with Swift, in 2019, although recently, it all came tumbling down.
Last Summer, the pair announced they were divorcing after four years of marriage and two daughters. It looks like they’ve both since moved on, with Jonas reportedly dating model Stormi Bree. Maybe she could be the one…
Matty Healy
Although brief, Healy and Swift go way back. They first met in 2014 at one of the 1975 concerts in LA, where they’re said to have exchanged numbers.
Cut to 2023, after Taylor’s relationship with Joe Alwyn came to an end, and the two began dating for a couple of months. He’s thought to have been the muse behind a few songs on The Tortured Poets Department.
Although he’s thought to be happily dating model Gabbriette Bechtel, after his relationship with Swift, fans ‘outed’ some of his past controversial actions.
The band was also banned from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after Matty Healy and bandmate Ross MacDonald kissed on-stage during their set at Good Vibes Festival.
John Mayer
The Love Story singer dated John Mayer from late 2009 to early 2010, and 14 years later, the singer still hasn’t found the one.
“People don’t think I want to be married,” ‘America’s ex-boyfriend’ said on the Comfort Food podcast at the start of this year. “I absolutely want to be married.”
“I so badly want to get married if only for my wife to just know in her heart, like, ‘John will know what to do,'” he said. “I just think that level of being relied on is the hottest thing in the world to me. ‘If my husband was here, he would know what to do. Call John. Call my husband,'” he said.
Jake Gyllenhaal
One very private relationship the singer had been with movie star Jake Gyllenhaal, in late 2010. However, things came to an end at the end of that same year, meaning the relationship only lasted roughly three months.
Although it didn’t last long, it looked like the aftermath did. In 2021, the star released a 10-minute version of the 2012 song, All Too Well, thought to be about the actor.
The song is a fan favorite with Swifties and went viral on TikTok, leading to the attention of Jake, who revealed that the response encouraged him to turn off his Instagram comments.
“It has nothing to do with me. It’s about her relationship with her fans,” he told Esquire. “At some point, I think it’s important when supporters get unruly that we feel a responsibility to have them be civil and not allow for cyberbullying in one’s name,” he continued.
Tom Hiddleston
Another ex who can’t hide from the past is Loki star Tom Hiddleston. Again, the pair’s relationship didn’t last long, around three months in 2016. However, he’s still ‘haunted’ by one thing.
Before calling it quits, the star was spotted wearing a “I ♥ T.S.” tank top during the couple’s 4th of July celebrations. Fans couldn’t stop laughing, and a year later, he explained the reasoning behind it.
“The truth is, it was the Fourth of July and a public holiday, and we were playing a game and I slipped and hurt my back,” he told GQ. “And I wanted to protect the graze from the sun and said, ‘Does anyone have a T-shirt?’ And one of her friends said, ‘I’ve got this’ … And we all laughed about it. Exception: Taylor Lautner
The two Taylors dated in 2009, as the Twilight star became one of the biggest heartthrobs across the globe. Fans joked about how they’d share the exact same name if they got married, but unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.
Although Lautner did end up marrying another Taylor, Taylor Dome, so we guess the ‘jokes’ did come true after all. He seems to be living his life and he and the 34-year-old seem to still be on good terms.
So much so, that she bought him onstage at the Eras Tour in July, and he was so happy, he did a backflip.
