Carl Froch thinks Oleksandr Usyk should retire in the wake of his sensational victory over Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.
The Ukrainian became undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in the Middle East, with the 37-year-old winning via split decision.
It was the biggest victory of Usyk's career, though he's expected to engage Fury in a rematch in October.
Yet Froch, speaking to talkSPORT, believes the Ukrainian should retire - having 'completed boxing' in the wake of his sensational triumph in Saudi.
"I think the only thing Usyk will do is retire, he will either have the rematch or retire," he said.
"He's got nothing to prove. He's beaten AJ twice, he's now beaten Tyson Fury.
"He is the generational great for me. Usyk is the main, he is the leader of the pack.
"When you look back at this generation of heavyweights you're going to look back and say 'Oleksandr Usyk is the main man, he's dominated'.
"In my opinion, he should retire, he's done everything he needs to do, he's name enough money, he's mastered the game, he's completed boxing.
"There is nothing left to do. undisputed cruiserweight, undisputed heavyweight, 37-years-old, getting towards 40.
"When I retired I was nearly 37. Usyk is at that age where I know how you feel in training camp and how you feel in round seven and eight.
"He's completed boxing, hang up the gloves, and turn it in. That is my advice to him.
"I don't think he's got anything left to prove, the rematch proves nothing.
"Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and the rest of the heavyweights can fight for the number two position."
While Froch thinks Usyk should retire, however, that's something that's not likely to happen just yet.
The Ukrainian could be forgiven for forfeiting a rematch with Fury given he's got nothing left to prove.
Yet Usyk insisted he was ready to fight again in the wake of his win, though did admit to needing a rest.
As for Fury, his future in the sport is up in the air.
Like Usyk, he's also indicated he's ready for a rematch - even if he was left bloodied and bruised on Saturday night.

Some think he could quit the sport and retire, however, having lost the first professional fight of his career.
And Johnny Nelson, speaking in the aftermath of the bout, has said he wouldn't be surprised to see Fury quit boxing for good.
He told Sky Sports: "I think Tyson Fury will be devastated at the result of that.
"Tyson's team will have serious conversations about motivating him after this and get his mind back.
"Don't be surprised if Tyson walks away from this.
"What more can he do? How can he improve from that?"
