Russian drone attacks injure at least five in Kharkiv, fires break out at four sites in the city

"Explosions were heard in Kharkiv," Terekhov said at 2:10 a.m.

"Drones are over the city, stay cautious."

Just five minutes later, he confirmed another explosion.

Several private homes were damaged and fires had broken out due to the drone strikes, Terekhov updated at 2:37 a.m.

Three people had been injured as of 2:57 a.m., he reported, adding that they had all received medical assistance.

"Preliminary information suggests a drone strike hit one of the city's favorite recreational spots," he added.

A fourth person was reported injured at 3:06 a.m., said Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head, Oleh Synehubov, adding that the individual received medical care at the scene.

Two women were injured after a Russian airstrike on Kharkiv on May 19.
