Tappy Toes dancers in Bishop’s Stortford flying high as superheroes for children’s charity

Dancers turned superheroes at their Tappy Toes classes in Bishop’s Stortford to support disabled and autistic youngsters.

Baby and toddler sessions across the country, including those run by Jessica Frederico in the town, have already raised more than £800 for Caudwell Children.

The charity transforms the lives of disabled children across the UK, acting as a safety net for families and providing support services, treatment and therapies.

Across the country, fundraising events took place with the Superhero hashtag #WatchMeFly during Children's Activities Week.

Jessica said: “They are an amazing charity, and watching some of their promotional videos makes you realise just how lucky you are if your child does not have any additional needs.

“Caudwell Children make an amazing difference to so many families and any donation big or small is massively appreciated.”

She said the funding generated by the classes would help pay for autism assessments and post-diagnostic support; occupational therapy sensory packs; therapy cycles; family support; short breaks and activities.
