Thomas Rhett Reveals If He + Wife Lauren Will Have Another Baby [Exclusive]

Thomas Rhett described how he feels raising four daughters, “drowning.” While he admitted that word was a bit morbid, he feels that it describes the past four years of his and his wife Lauren’s lives as parents.

Will Thomas Rhett + Lauren Have Another Baby?

In an exclusive interview with Taste of Country Nights, I asked the “Beautiful as You” singer if he and his wife, Lauren Akins, are done having kids, or there is a chance that they will have more.

There were a couple of things revealed here, let’s dive in.

Did Thomas Rhett Get a Vasectomy?

According to Rhett, “I have not gotten a snip. I don’t know if I can physically, I don’t know that I can do that, if I’m being honest.”

Has Thomas Rhett Ruled Out Having More Kids?

“We have come up for air. We are going to let the air ride for a little bit longer. I haven’t ruled it out.”

Would Thomas Rhett and His Wife Adopt Again?

“Maybe, man, you know, I think, we pray about it constantly, kinda, for the peace or the un-peace,” he says. “Do we want to have another kid, or do we want to adopt again? I think both are on the table, so…”

It’s to be noted that he said they pray about whether to adopt or conceive, not whether to have another kid or not.

Rhett told me that he and Lauren are having fun again. They are in the phase where all of the kids are out of diapers and can now do things for themselves. Rhett and Lauren are essentially dating again, having date nights and staying out past midnight again.

It sounds like all signs are a go that the Rhett household will expand even more. It’s just a matter of when and how.
