Liverpool New Kit 24/25 Released: Cost, Sponsor, How to Buy & Everything You Need To Know

The forthcoming 2024/25 season will be a year of change and we’ve already seen how Liverpool will look during it in their brand-new home kit.

Jurgen Klopp bid an emotional farewell to Liverpool on Sunday following his last game in charge at Anfield after nine fantastic years.

Liverpool rounded off the campaign with a 2-0 victory over Wolves, thanks to goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Jarell Quansah.

Arne Slot was in attendance after being confirmed as Klopp’s replacement on a three-year deal and the Dutchman got to see how his new team will be kitted out for his first season.

New Liverpool home kit for the 2024/25 season

The new Liverpool home for next season is once again made by Nike.

The jersey is inspired by the home shirt worn during the 1984 season in which Liverpool won the European Cup in Rome and features a ‘chrome yellow’ pattern design.

The unique retro collar is also a nod to the famous design worn by Joe Fagan’s side. The collar is white with red and yellow detailing.

The red and yellow motif features throughout the kit.

The Nike swoosh logo and the minimalised Liverbird logo, rather than the club’s traditional bage once more, are in the same chrome yellow on both sides of the chest.

Captain Virgil van Dijk told Liverpool’s official site on the kit: “I’m a big fan of our new kit for next season and love the fact we’re bringing the retro vibe back.

“We are a club built on history and the 1984 team was one of our most successful ever. I’m sure our fans will appreciate the nod to those club legends.”

How much does the new Liverpool home kit cost

A variety of editions of the shirt are available to purchase but all of them come at a steep cost.

On Liverpool’s official club store, the men’s and women’s versions of the ‘stadium jersey’ are priced at £80. The ‘match jersey’ variation comes in at £125.

A Premier League patch will cost an additional £7 while back-of-the-shirt printing will cost £8 for a number and a further £8 for a name (with a 10-12 character limit).

A full kit would set you back even further. The ‘stadium shorts’ cost £43, the ‘match shorts’ £65 and the socks £18.

For children, the ‘stadium jersey’ costs £60 and the ‘match jersey’ is priced at £100. A ‘little kids’ full kit can be bought for £52 and an ‘infants kit’ for £47.

The same prices apply for the new black goalkeeper kit, though there is not a match version available.

How to buy the new Liverpool home kit

All variations of the new home shirt and full kit, as well as the goalkeeper kit and a new pre-match jacket, can be purchased online at the club’s official store.

Liverpool’s official club shop at Anfield also stocks the new kit while manufacturers Nikes sell it as well, though it’s even more expensive on their store.

New Liverpool home kit sponsors

Liverpool are once again being sponsored by Standard Chartered next season.

The bank has been Liverpool’s main team sponsor since July 2010 and the deal will continue to run until the end of the 2026-27 campaign.

Expedia has been the club’s shirt sleeve sponsor since 2020 and that deal was extended until 2027 last year.

Both company’s logos feature in white on the kit.

When is the new Liverpool away kit released?

Last season’s away kit wasn’t officially unveiled until June 30 so it may be a few weeks before the new shirt is confirmed.

Leaked images of the potential new Liverpool away kit for the 2024/25 season suggest the Reds will be sporting a black shirt with light blue detailing on their travels.

When is the new Liverpool third kit released?

The third kit for the 2023/24 season was unveiled even later in mid-August just before the Premier League got underway. So it will likely be a while before this year’s is revealed.

However, more leaked images suggest the kit will be platinum white with yellow and red trimming and a unique, upside-down double swoosh Nike logo.
