Denny Hamlin has some thoughts on Prime Video airing the 2025 Coca-Cola 600, which will be the first NASCAR race the streaming service will cover. On the Actions Detrimentalpodcast, Hamlin said he has no problem with one of NASCAR’s biggest races being on Prime Video.

“I good with it,” Hamlin said. “It’s fine. Certainly, it’s the first race for this new partner and people tune in to the Coke 600 race more than any race before it or after it. It’s probably the great primer for their series. I have no issue in the Coke 600 being on Amazon.”

The 2025 Coca-Cola 600 willkick off Prime Video’s run of five midseason races during its inaugural year of covering the sport. The streaming network announced earlier this month that NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. would join Prime Video to call the races.

“We can’t wait to drop the flag and start our NASCAR relationship with the famed Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway next May,” Jay Marine, vice president and global head of sports and ads, Prime Video, said in a statement. “We have one of the most iconic drivers in history, Dale Earnhardt Jr., joining our broadcast booth, and we also have a behind-the-scenes, four-part documentary on the Earnhardt family coming to Prime Video. Add in the just announced in-season tournament where drivers will compete for a $1 million prize, and our debut can’t come fast enough.”

Denny Hamlin gets brutally honest about the All-Star race

Along with the 2025 Coca-Cola 600, Hamlin shared his intereesting thoughts on Joey Logano winning the All-Star race. Logano did not receive a lot of attention after winning the race due to Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch getting into a fight.

“I hate to say this — nobody gives a f*** about Joey Logano winning the All-Star Race,” Hamlin said. “That’s a fact. And I hate that our media was like, ‘Oh my gosh, they’re only showing the fight.’ Well, yeah. We gotta understand who we are. With all due respect to the 22, nobody gives a s***. That’s just a fact and if it was the 11, nobody would give a s*** either. It’s just this was the story out of it. Thank God, because this podcast would have been over 20 minutes ago.”

Hamlin and the rest of the NASCAR drivers will be in Charlotte for this year’s Coca-Cola 600. This is the longest race of the year as it takes 400 laps to complete the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
