Martina McBride to Judge New Reality Show Produced by Chip + Joanna Gaines

Martina McBride has signed on to be a judge on a new reality competition series called Second Chance Stage, produced by Chip and Joanna Gaines. The show will air on the Gaines-curated channel Magnolia Network (formerly DIY Network).

What Is the Show Second Chance Stage About?

The new reality competition series will give performers of all types an opportunity to pursue their dreams in entertainment. These contestants are getting a second chance to chase their ambitions after putting their dreams on hold for years or even decades.

The show will feature singers, dancers, comedians and more showing off what they can do in front of a live audience and panel of judges.

Who Are the Judges on Second Chance Stage?

Second Chance Stage will feature a dynamic panel of judges. In addition to McBride, actor Taye Diggs and Saturday Night Live cast member Heidi Gardner will serve as judges.

Former NFL player and sports broadcaster Emmanuel Acho will host the show.

What Does the Winner of Second Chance Stage Get?

The winner of Second Chance Stage will receive $100,000. The show is also expected to film in front of talent scouts, agents and producers who are looking for the next big entertainment star, so the possibilities following the season are endless.

When Does Second Chance Stage Start?

Although a premiere date has not been revealed, Second Chance Stage is expected to air on Magnolia Network beginning in the fall of 2024, with streaming available on Max.

According to a local Fox affiliate, filming for the show already took place in Kansas City, Mo. The finale was filmed on March 26.
