Russian attacks
Since the beginning of the day, there have been 94 combat engagements on the front line.
Russian troops are attacking the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, utilizing their advantage in manpower and equipment. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces decisively repel enemy attacks and in some areas counterattack, resulting in the improvement of tactical positions.
During the day, the enemy launched 3 missile strikes (using three missiles), 35 air strikes (including with the use of 48 guided aerial bombs), and 367 kamikaze drone strikes on Ukrainian territory.
Additionally, the enemy conducted nearly 2800 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements using various types of weaponry.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian aggressors attempted 10 times to displace units of the Defense Forces from their positions. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 6 attempts by the enemy to advance towards the settlement of Lyptsi, as well as an assault towards Pletenivka - Vovchansk.
"The situation remains tense in the area of Staritsia, where one attack from the direction of Novaya Tavolzhanka (Russia) was repelled. Two more attacks from Bugruvatka are ongoing," the General Staff reported.
In turn, Ukrainian defenders counterattacked and took measures to strengthen the defense, as stated in the evening report.
In the Kupiansk direction, the number of enemy attacks has increased to 12. Combat engagements are ongoing in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Novoyehorivka.
In the Berestove direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 enemy assault actions. The situation is under control, and measures are being taken to stabilize the situation.
In the Lyman direction, the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were not compromised. An attempt by the enemy to advance in the area of the settlement of Terny was suppressed.
In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 10 enemy assault actions in the areas of Bilohorivka, Vyimka, and Rozdolivka. Another battle near Bilohorivka is ongoing. The aggressor has not succeeded.
In the Kramatorsk direction, a total of 10 attacks were repelled. Russian troops attempted 5 times unsuccessfully to penetrate the defensive lines of the Defense Forces in the area of Klyshchiivka, 3 times near Andriivka, and also in the areas of Novyi and Ivanivskyi.
"In this direction, the enemy's losses currently amount to 135 personnel and 50 pieces of equipment. Specifically, one tank, two APCs, and the electronic warfare station Burelom have been destroyed," reported the General Staff.
The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest on the entire front line. Since the beginning of the day, the number of enemy assaults has increased to 37. The enemy attempted 15 times to advance from Ocheretynу in the directions of Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Progress, and Yevhenivka, and heavy fighting continues.
"In addition, Russian invaders persist in their attempts to breach our defenses in the areas of Novoselivka Persha, Severne, and Netaylove. In some areas, the situation requires maneuvering by our forces. Defense forces are taking measures to repel the enemy and stabilize the situation," the General Staff reported.
In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to suppress the enemy's activity, which unsuccessfully attacked our positions twice since the beginning of the day.
In the Vremivka direction, the situation has not undergone significant changes, but the aggressor has concentrated a significant number of firepower assets in the area of Staromayorske and increased its intensity.
"Measures are being taken to stabilize the situation," according to the evening summary from the General Staff.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, the situation remains unchanged. In the Toretsk, Hulyaipole, and Orikhiv directions, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions today.
"Ukrainian soldiers inflict firepower on the enemy, exhausting it along the entire front line," added the General Staff.
