A busy offseason for Penn State football’s NIL collective, Happy Valley United, continued on Tuesday. Announced via press release, HVU has teamed with Hidden Still Spirits to make a Nittany Lion-specific bourbon.

The new product is called Blue & White Bourbon and will be sold online through Hidden Still Spirits, at the distillery’s Hershey location, as well as shops in the Pittsburgh Strip District and the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. A percentage of the proceeds from all sales will be directed to bolster HVU’s funding for Penn State student-athletes.

“Our roots in central Pennsylvania make us familiar with the passion and excitement Penn State fans display for their teams and university year-round,” said Jack Raudenbush, Hidden Still Spirits’ COO. “Blue & White Bourbon symbolizes Nittany Nation’s commitment to their school and allows them to easily support and celebrate their student-athletes with every purchase.”

Hidden Still Spirits joins Boyd & Blair’s “Happy Valley Vodka” as well as New Trail Brewing Company’s “State Light” lager, and Yerbae’s Happy Valley Blue Razz energy drink in partnering with Happy Valley United.

“Our team couldn’t be more excited to add a product from Hidden Still Spirits to our portfolio,” said Jen Ferrang, HVU’s General Manager of Corporate Partnerships and Development. “Hidden Still has deep roots in the Central Pennsylvania region and their high-quality products are fit for any occasion — especially tailgates and watch parties.”

West Coast NIL dinner on tap

Along with the latest NIL partnership for HVU, the collective also has a dinner set for Wednesday evening in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. Already in attendance of the Big Ten’s meetings this week in the area, the dinner brings Penn State head coach James Franklin together with supporters of the program for an intimate dinner.

Tickets for the event are $500 for individuals and $750 for couples. They’re still on sale at the HVU site.

From the HVU site:

“Happy Valley United is pleased to extend an invitation to you for a unique opportunity to support Penn State football student-athletes through Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). Head coach James Franklin’s travels will bring him to Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on Wednesday, May 22. During his visit, Franklin will host an intimate dinner for Nittany Lion football supporters. Drinks start at 7 PM and dinner begins at 7:30 PM
