MAGA hardliner Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) claimed Tuesday that a hit was put on Donald Trump and she warned him of the danger.
According to the baseless claim Greene posted on X, President Joe Biden's Justice department and Federal Bureau of Investigations were behind the plot.
"The Biden DOJ and FBI were planning to assassinate Pres Trump and gave the green light," Greene wrote. "I made sure that he knew."

Greene was referencing a recent Trump rant in which he fumed that the FBI had been authorized to use deadly force when they searched Mar-a-Lago for classified documents in 2022.
Trump was fuming earlier that the "Illegal and UnConstitutional Raid of Mar-a-Lago" had "AUTHORIZED THE FBI TO USE DEADLY (LETHAL) FORCE."
As one former FBI assistant director noted, "every FBI operations order contains a reminder of FBI deadly force policy."
That did not stop Greene from blaming Speaker Mike Johnson for his "fully funded" DOJ and FBI.

"Was deadly force authorized against Biden for his docs?" Greene wrote. "Were they going to shoot SS then Pres Trump, Melania, and Barron too???... All of this is unforgivable."
Trump and Greene were responding to an unsealed court filing detailing how federal agents were prepared to use "deadly force" in their Aug. 8, 2022 search of the Trump's Palm Beach club and home.
The president was in New Jersey on that morning when the feds showed up.
