Former Georgia center Frank Anselem-Ibe commits to Louisville

Former Georgia Bulldogs center Frank Anselem-Ibe has found his college basketball home for the upcoming 2024-25 season in Kentucky. On Tuesday, the senior big man took to social media to announce that he is committed to playing for the Louisville Cardinals in the ACC next season.

Anselem-Ibe originally started his college basketball career in the Big Ten at Syracuse. With the Orange, he played in 36 games, earning six starts, with all six starts coming in his sophomore season. From there, he would transfer to Georgia just ahead of the 2022- 23 season, where he would again be primarily a rotation player coming off the bench.

In Athens, GA, Anselem-Ibe played in a total of 60 games over two seasons, earning nine starts while averaging 12 minutes of playing time per contest. Anselem-Ibe finishes his time with the Bulldogs, averaging 2.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and .7 blocks per contest while shooting just over 53% from the field.
