Rolling blackouts as Russian attacks erode Ukraine's energy capacity

Rolling blackouts returned to Ukraine’s capital this month after successive Russian airstrikes since March whittled away the country’s energy capacity, one destroyed piece of infrastructure after another.

A barrage in April damaged Kyiv’s largest thermal power plant.

Another massive missile attack on 8 May targeted power generation and transmission facilities in several regions.
