What's more terrifying than a celebrity couple portmanteau? A celebrity couple portmanteau with Oval Office aspirations.

That's the opinion expressed by the Guardian columnist Arwa Mahdawi in her latest red alert warning Wednesday about Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's political aspirations.

"While 'Javanka' kept their distance from the former president during Trump’s lows, there are signs Ivanka might be thinking of coming out of political retirement," Mahdawi writes. "The Ivank-a-Meter is flashing red."

Mahdawi links the revival of Ivanka's political aspirations to former President Donald Trump's campaign to reclaim the White House in 2025.

The former President, and presumptive Republican nominee, may face multiple hurdles that include campaign coffer woes and four criminal indictments on election interference and Espionage Act violation charges, but he's also polling well in key swing states.

Mahdawi does not deign to predict the outcome on Election Night, but she declares one political power couple has already won.

"Both Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, always seem to know which way the wind is blowing: the pair made out like bandits when they were unelected members of the Trump administration," she writes.

"Then, when it felt like the grift may be up, the Saudis gave Kushner billions to invest."

As Kushner pursues financial gain, there are signs Ivanka is reconsidering the political arena that include appearances next to Trump and reports she's "warming to the idea of trying to be helpful again," Mahdawi reports.

"While it’s certainly not a done deal that the US will see a President Trump again, if we do then you can expect the reign to be long," Mahdawi concludes.

"Trump recently floated the idea of a third term if he wins in November, and it is rumored that Ivanka has harbored dreams of being the first female president."
