Marjorie Taylor Greene to Trump-endorsing Nikki Haley: Get lost

When former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley was campaigning to be the Republican presidential nominee, she questioned whether Donald Trump was mentally fit to return to the White House.

On Wednesday, Haley confessed that she will vote for Trump in November, betraying supporters who are still casting votes for her in GOP primaries — even though she has been out of the race for two months.

Haley is just another in a growing list of Trump detractors who are now saying they will support him despite a coup attempt, criminal indictments, and civil fraud and defamation judgments.

“As a voter, I put my priorities on a president who is going to have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies to account, who would secure the border, no more excuses. A president who would support capitalism and freedom. A president who understands we need less debt, not more debt. Trump has not been perfect on these polices. I’ve made that clear many, many times. But Biden has been a catastrophe, so I will be voting for Trump,” Haley said Wednesday during an appearance at the Hudson Institute.

“Having said that, I stand by what I said in my suspension speech. Trump would be smart to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me, and not assume that they’re just going to be with him,” she added.

You’d think MAGA would welcome her endorsement with hugs and hallelujas. Yeah, well, not so fast, said MAGA lieutenant Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“Desperate Neocon Nikki Haley finally endorsed President Trump today,” Greene posted on social media.

“She is doing everything she can to weasel her way into Trump’s next administration, even now by threatening that her voters won’t vote for Trump.

“Not voting FOR Trump IS voting for Biden.

“If Nikki Haley is demanding her voters help Biden continue to destroy our country by refusing to vote for Trump, then Nikki Haley and her voters will be responsible and we will never forget it.

“Never Neocon Nikki.”

While campaigning Haley portrayed Trump as dangerous and unfit to serve, saying that where Trump goes, “chaos follows.” She questioned Trump’s mental fitness, advocating for politicians above a certain age to be subject to mental competency tests.

“Many of the same politicians who publicly embrace Trump privately dread him,” Haley said in a Feb. 20 campaign speech in Greenville, S.C. “They know what a disaster he’s been and will continue to be. They are just too afraid to say it out loud. I’m not afraid to say the hard truth out loud.”

When Trump questioned the whereabouts of her husband, Michael Haley, who was deployed with the United States Africa Command and hinted that her marriage was falling apart, Haley fired back.

“If you mock the service of a combat veteran, you don’t deserve a driver’s license, let alone being president of the United States,” she said in February.

Greene is fresh from launching her conspiracy theory that the FBI, with standard orders to defend themselves during their search for classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, was out to assassinate Trump.

The FBI quickly shot that down and stated that the same standard operating procedure was in effect when agents searched President Joe Biden’s residence for classified materials.
