Words of solidarity from allies cannot shoot down the missiles of the terrorist state of Russia. Ukraine needs Patriot air defense systems, according to Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

Commenting on today's Russian massive shelling of Kharkiv, the Minister notes that this event should remind everyone of Ukraine's need for seven Patriot systems. He welcomes Germany's decision to provide an additional system, but obtaining the other six is critical to Ukraine's survival and peace in Europe.

According to Kuleba, every day of delay on the part of the allies, as well as the debate, costs human lives and brings us closer to a larger war in Europe.

"No naming and shaming, but I once again urge countries that have “Patriots” to speed up decisions and provide these systems to Ukraine. I believe that seven "Patriot" systems are not a high price to pay for long-term peace in Europe. But they are needed now, not tomorrow. Unfortunately, mere words of solidarity do not intercept Russian missiles," the Minister adds.
