George Conway can’t help himself.
The conservative lawyer/never-Trumper is at it again trying to get under Donald Trump’s skin. And this time he’s taking the fight to Mar-a-Lago.
“So, just for kicks, I put up a billboard a few miles south of Palm Beach on I-95 South, perfect for anyone happening to travel from Mar-a-Lago to Doral to, say, play golf. Right around Exit 64, I believe.” Conway posted to X on Thursday.
The billboard reads: “VOTE FOR JOE NOT THE PSYCHO.”
Conway, who split with his former wife and top Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway, cut a check for more than $900,000 last month to support Joe Biden.
He donated $929,600 — the max you can give to the Biden Victory Fund.
“There’s nothing more important than this. And yeah, it’s gonna come out of my kids’ inheritance, but the most important thing they can inherit is living in a constitutional democracy,” Conway said on CNN about the donation.
“If you told me [in the past] that I would do something like that and support a Democrat, and tomorrow night I would be headlining a fundraiser in Washington, asking Democrats to give to a Democrat, I would have said, ‘Well, you know, that’s just pure fantasy,’” he said. “But the evolution was just watching how the Republican Party has become something that’s completely unrecognizable.”
