2024/25 marks a watershed moment for UEFA's club competitions, with the Swiss model's introduction set to bring about drastic changes.
Much of the discourse surrounding the Swiss model has focused on the Champions League, but the Europa League will also undergo the same format change from the start of the 2024/25 season.
There are no longer eight teams of four to make up the group stage, with the eventual 36 qualifiers for the Europa League competing in a league stage before the knockout rounds.
Format familiarity will kick in thereafter, with the knockout rounds following a similar schedule to what fans have grown used to since the emergence of the Conference League.
A fresh start should bring about plenty of excitement for a competition which is only growing in prestige. Here are all the teams that have qualified for the 2024/25 Europa League and the pots they have been placed into for the league stage draw.
2024/25 Europa League confirmed teams
There's still a long way to go until the start of the 2024/25 Europa League. Over the summer, teams will compete in three qualifying rounds and the play-offs in a bid to reach the league stage where 36 teams will participate.
Ajax and Braga are among the teams that will have to endure the travails of qualifying.
As it stands, nine teams have booked their place in the 2024/25 Europa League.
Tottenham are back in the competition after finishing fifth in the Premier League and will be joined by either Manchester United or Chelsea depending on the outcome of the FA Cup final.
Nice and Lyon have qualified from Ligue 1, while Porto and AZ advanced from their respective domestic divisions. Roma are also back, as are Real Sociedad, Athletic Club and Eintracht Frankfurt.
In total, 12 teams will qualify based on their domestic performance in 2023/24, 12 play-off winners will enter, as will 11 losers from the Champions League play-offs. The final spot is awarded to the victors of the Europa Conference League.
When is the 2024/25 Europa League league stage draw?
The draw for the 2024/25 Europa League league stage will take place following the conclusion of the play-offs in August. It's been scheduled for 29 August 2024 and will be held at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
The format change means the draw won't determine which group each qualified team will play in, but their eight opponents instead. Every team will be drawn against two teams from each pot, with four games being played at home and four away to make up the league stage.

When is the 2024/25 Europa League final?
Two team will be left standing after slogging through a familiar knockout stage in terms of its format and the 2024/25 Europa League finalists will convene in Bilbao on 21 May 2025.
Athletic Club's regenerated San Mames, which boasts a capacity of over 50,000, will stage the competition's showpiece event.
