Bethenny Frankel was turned away by Chanel and claims they “immediately said no” when she tried to go inside for a last-minute walk-in. She then filmed herself entering the store wearing designer.
The Real Housewives of New York City star joked that “Christmas is cancelled” as she tested out whether she’d be allowed into Chanel while wearing designer clothing compared to a casual t-shirt.
Bethenny Frankel ‘turned away’ by Chanel
Bethenny Frankel was turned away by Chanel, she claims in a TikTok video. She says they “said no immediately” after she tried to enter the store at 3.54pm on a Tuesday afternoon.
During a shopping trip in Chicago, the RHONY star claims the Chanel security guard slightly opened the door and asked if she has an appointment – which she did not have.
She recalls how she asked, “No, I have a basic b**** purse, am I not allowed in?” Bethenny went on to say she was “treated like an interloper” before claiming she needs a pap smear test for an appointment.
The following day, Bethenny films herself as she makes her way to the Chanel store dressed much more differently to the previous day, when she was allegedly refused entry.
“If they let me in because of how I look, Christmas is cancelled,” she jokes. Then, as she steps out of a Range Rover wearing black heels and what appears to be a Chanel dress, security guards let her in.
She does have to wait outside the door briefly while security checks if she can enter. Just seconds after the guard lets her in, Bethenny walks back out and says, “No problem today.”
Fans shocked over refused entry
When TikTok fans saw Bethenny getting refused entry to Chanel, they claimed the security guard had made a huge mistake, mainly by not recognizing the Real Housewives star.
One fan wrote, “I can’t believe that they didn’t recognize The Bethenny Frankel yesterday,” while fellow followers had Bethenny “deceased” as “TJ Maxx would never.”
Another penned, “Did you take the moment in and say “I was here yesterday and you wouldn’t let me in. BIG MISTAKE, HUGE MISTAKE! I have to go shop now!” lol.”
