Liverpool are going to look a different outfit next season under Arne Slot and Barcelona have now made contact over one of their most experienced players.

Barcelona keen to bring Thiago back at request of Hansi Flick
According to AS, Barcelona are looking at bringing Thiago Alcantara back to the Nou Camp.
It comes at the request of new coach Hansi Flick, who is keen to establish a German-Spanish link between the management and players.
Thiago is, of course, due to leave Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of June.
The Spanish midfielder has had a torrid time with injury ever since signing for Liverpool in £20m deal.
However, it looks like he could get another big chance back at one of his former clubs.
Thiago should jump at Barcelona chance
Given Thiago is 33, hasn’t played much football for a while and is out of contract, this is a golden chance for him to go somewhere massive in the final stages of his career.
As we know, Barca is a club he knows well and if he’s going to be brought in as a link between the dressing room and management, it’s a role that should suit.
Thiago will need to get fit and show he can still do a job if required on the pitch.
But if Hansi Flick and Deco want him for more than just that, then this is something he cannot afford to turn down.
