Punjab: Uttarakhand CM holds rally in support of BJP candidate from Ludhiana seat

Ludhiana (Punjab) [India], May 25 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today addressed a public meeting in favour of BJP candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu from Ludhiana parliamentary constituency in Punjab.

The meeting was held at Uttaranchal Dharamshala in Ludhiana, Punjab.

CM Dhami said the Congress and Aam Admi Party which are fighting elections together in many states as part of INDIA bloc, are "working together to betray" the country and Punjab.

"The Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are working together to betray the country and Punjab... In Punjab, these two parties are contesting elections separately from each other... This is an alliance to cheat the public. This is a 'thugbandhan', whose foundation is based on corruption and appeasement...," CM Dhami said.

"These people want to snatch the reservation of Scheduled Caste-Scheduled Tribe, Other Backwward Class and want to give it to their own kind of vote bank...," he alleged.

In a post in hindi on X, CM Dhami said, "I appealed to the people to vote in favour of the BJP. I am overwhelmed to see the wonderful confluence of immense public confidence and unprecedented support".

In another post in hindi, CM Dhami said, "With the enthusiasm seen in the people of Punjab in this election, I am convinced that the God-like people are going to make their invaluable contribution in the creation of a developed and self-reliant India by making the respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji the Prime Minister for the third time with the power of their one vote".

In Punjab, voting for its 13 seats will take place in a single phase, with the seventh and final phase on June 1 seeing voting in Gurudaspur, Amritsar, Khadoor Sahib, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Nandpur Sahib, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Firozpur, Bathinda, Sangrur, and Patiala constituencies.
