Russia's offensive at the front

The Russian army has focused on advancing in eastern Ukraine. They are trying to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses near Chasiv Yar and Avdiivka.

The Russian military has also been trying to make progress in the north of the Kharkiv region for two weeks. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, enemy losses in this area amount to 8 to 1.

Zelenskyy also says Russia is amassing troops 90 kilometers northwest of Kharkiv and may be preparing another offensive.
