Fabrizio Romano shares how many signings Ange Postecoglou could get at Tottenham this summer

Fabrizio Romano has shared how many signings Tottenham Hotspur could make during the summer transfer window.

It looks set to be an eventful summer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Ange Postecoglou recently calling for ‘change’ at the club.

The Aussie boss is reportedly willing to offload 15 players as he goes about shaping the squad in his image, with the likes of Giovani Lo Celso, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal all facing possible exits.

Should Spurs manage to offload such a large number of players, that will require them to fill plenty of gaps in their squad as they prepare for a return to the Europa League.

Fabrizio Romano is anticipating Tottenham to be ‘really busy’ in the weeks and months ahead.

How many signings Tottenham could make this summer

Speaking on The Debrief, Romano shared what he’s heard about Tottenham’s plans for the summer.

The Lilywhites are looking to strengthen their options in attack and Romano thinks the club could move to bring in four or five players.

“They’re looking at different options as a centre striker or as a winger I expect Tottenham to be really busy,” he said.

“I don’t want to throw out like six or seven names, but they are considering several players and several positions.

“I see Tottenham being really busy, I think it could be four or five signings this summer for Spurs.”

Tottenham’s transfer targets

The summer window is yet to officially open [June 14] but Tottenham have already been linked to a host of names.

Spurs are showing interest in Middlesborough defender Rav van den Berg, with the youngster able to operate at centre-back and right-back.

In midfield, Conor Gallagher remains a top target for the club and the midfielder prefers a switch to north London over Newcastle United.

Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson is one of many attackers to be linked with a move to Spurs but it remains unclear whether the club will prioritise a striker or wide forward.

In terms of options for the No9 role, Dominic Solanke is reportedly of interest, as well as Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez and Brentford star Ivan Toney.
