Donald Trump Sunday snubbed a Republican lawmaker who went out of his way to attend the former president's criminal trial, and called it a "farce."

Trump issued a slew of new endorsements over the weekend, including one for House Speaker Mike Johnson. The endorsement of Johnson and a couple other GOP congressmen led MAGA adherents to chastise the former president and call out his decisions.

What was most notable to some, however, wasn't who Trump endorsed. It was who he left of his list, namely Dan Webster.

Webster recently made the voyage to New York to support Trump, but that apparently wasn't enough to get into the ex-president's good graces. He was absent from the long list of names issued.

Webster's opponent, fellow Republican Anthony Sabatini, had this to say:

"JUST IN," he said Sunday. "Trump just endorsed every Republican member of Congress from Florida EXCEPT my opponent RINO Dan Webster, Laurel Lee, and Kat Cammack."

Former prosecutor Ron Filipkowski also weighed in:

"Webster went all the way up to NYC this week to humiliate himself outside Trump’s trial hoping to get the endorsement to fend off another MAGA primary challenger," he said on Sunday. "Not to be. I hope everyone who does this loses. I’d rather deal with real MAGA than phonies."
