Getafe goalkeeper Soria out of danger after collision

Getafe goalkeeper David Soria is recovering in hospital after being knocked unconscious following a collision during a La Liga match, the Spanish club has said.

Soria, 31, collided with an opponent during the second half of Getafe's match against Mallorca on Sunday and hit the ground head-first.

He was unconscious for several minutes and then taken to hospital in an ambulance.

Getafe said late Sunday that Soria is conscious and out of danger, but would remain in hospital for 24 hours for observation.
